Nathan Hoover > After grinding the frame and bending it to fit the 4" wide hub, it fits nicely. This is #56, from the beefed up "Chuck-proof" batch.

Nathan Hoover > The replacement 42mm bearing holders need the same grinding on the inside edges. (This modification actually does work fine).

Nathan Hoover > The hub now appears to fit in the frame, but in reality the slight bumps will cause pressure points which will age the bearings very quickly. You'll get something less than 1000 miles with this technique, so don't do it. Buy a real 42mm frame instead!

Nathan Hoover > Look at those beautiful early Christmas presents! 2007 KH24 Mountain unicycles from Bedford Unicycles, custom powder coated to match our uni truck. Brakes not installed yet - they have matching yellow protectors on them! Nov 22, 2006.

2008 update: Beau changed out to 125/150 dual drilled cranks and now uses 125mm for almost all riding. Shorter is better!
