Friday morning, the team descends on
Britech in Lawerencetown, 160km from Halifax. We saw the GPS transmitter units that will be used as batons in the race. Brian of Britech says "If it isn't real-time, it isn't anything", or words to that effect. These guys really know their stuff and are an invaluable addition to the Ride The Lobster team.
Because of this technology, anyone with internet access anywhere in the world will be able to see real-time tracking of the Ride The Lobster teams WHILE they are racing.
