Nathan Hoover > Ken Looi in second place, but he later tangled with a slower rider and lost many places.

Nathan Hoover > Sam, Dustin, Nathan and Kjetil, all ungeared. Dustin took 3rd overall and Sam 5th - both breaking the previous world record.

Nathan Hoover > Chuck finished in 20:01.4 followed by Beau in 21:33.1 giving California a 1-2 victory! They both rode geared up KH36s. The old WR was 22:16.6 set by Patrick Schmid at Unicon XIII and was broken by the top 7 riders this time, 5 of them geared.
Nathan Hoover > Lunch time back at the Søndermark School. Yum, ice-cream for dessert.
Nathan Hoover > In the afternoon, we had a disc golf tournament at the nearby Valbyparken Disc Golf Park. This course is great in that each hole as 3 different tee positions (Beginner, Expert, Pro) and is really well marked. The unfortunate thing about this day was that a huge concert (loud crappy music) was on so the park was massively crowded. Also, the massive fields of nettles and grass needed cutting. We spent a fair amount of time searching for disks. Finally, there were lots of other players (low skill, but playing the Pro distances) so we had to wait a lot. Later in the week, it was uncrowded, completely mowed and awesome. In our practice game the day before, we played the middle (Expert) tees which was fine, but for the tournament with many first time players, we opted for the short tees on almost all holes. Later in the week we played the Pro tees - very challenging and fun.
