Nathan Hoover > You see snake wine sold almost everywhere. I never saw anyone buying it, but it must be a hot item judging by how many bottles are for sale in so many places all over the country.

These have cobras or some other similar poisenous snake in them. For extra fun, you can get one with a giant scorpion in addition. The biggest one I ever saw had dozens of snakes in about 20 gallons of wine.
Nathan Hoover > Close up. Yum.
Nathan Hoover > Heading down into the long tourist tunnel. The real ones were 90cm high and 70cm wide. These are a tiny bit bigger (but still really small and claustrophobic). The high temperature and humidity kind of took something out of the experience.
Nathan Hoover > Hey, Corbin, look back this way for a photo.
Nathan Hoover > Our excellent guide showing off a manikin that demonstrates how the Viet Cong dressed using cast off (or stolen) US Army equipment.
Nathan Hoover > Oh no, I forgot which building this is. Nice though.
Nathan Hoover > Saturday night - what did we do after our most huge and amazing dinner of the trip? Speed scrabble!
Nathan Hoover > Typical formations. Yes, hexer is a word. We found free wireless internet nearly everywhere in Vietnam - very convenient for challenges in scrabble.
Nathan Hoover > Easter Sunday morning March 23, 2008. This is Nha Tho Duc Ba - Cathedral of our Lady in Saigon. The two Nathans attended church here for a while. It was a pretty nice sermon, talking about what the phrase "Happy Easter" means, all in English. Standing room only. The cathedral was built from 1877-1880 by a French company.

This was a pretty long day for us since we flew home in the afternoon. 39 hours of Easter was a great end to a great trip.
